— Los Angeles Rams (@RamsNFL) October 13, 2017Jacksonville looks to break a rough losing streak, as the white jersey and white pants combination is 2-14 since the Nike redesign in 2013. Even when the Jaguars try to mix it up with the black pants, they are 5-17. Clearly, the white jerseys have not seen a lot of success (much like the entire franchise).
The Rams will look bad aesthetically come Sunday, as they can't decide to have gold or not on the uniforms. (image via NFL) |
The Rams have combated this issue for the most part, as they now wear all white at home since it has the fewest traces of gold. But, as we will see this weekend and have previously at Dallas, when the home team decides to wear white, LA is stuck with blue.
This week, they're throwing in another wrinkle. The Rams will be wearing their white pants with the blue tops, as opposed to the blue pants like they did versus Dallas. Hopefully this keeps the uniforms looking a little better, but we all know it won't look as good as it could. I'm still not sure why they didn't just decide to wear their amazing yellow and blue throwbacks all season long.
The Rams and Jaguars kick off at 3:05 CT on FOX.
